Student agency and leadership
Children are participants in their education, not an audience for it.
We create room for learners to express their views, contribute ideas, take responsibility and join decisions that shape school life. Student leadership includes participation in presidential elections, so children practise democratic participation, accountability, representation and responsible leadership.
The culture we want is one in which children are heard and, over time, entrusted with work that matters.
