Merging personal interests
Merging personal interests and daily inspirations with school work is one way we motivate our learners. By incorporating the things they love into their school work, we create a positive and engaging learning environment. One such example is Blessing Kaswa, a passionate football player who also enjoys watching Transformers in his free time.
This has enabled us to creatively integrate his interests into classroom activities, using football-related examples and transformer-inspired themes to support his learning. As a result, Blessing shows increased focus, confidence, and enthusiasm during lessons. He is more motivated to participate and completes tasks with greater interest and commitment.
This approach highlights our belief that when learners’ passions are recognised and valued, learning becomes more meaningful, enjoyable, and effective #ClassroomMotivation
